Impinj Speedway xPortal R640

Impinj Speedway xPortal R640

The Speedway® xPortal™, an integrated portal reader, incorporates the industry-leading Speedway Revolution RFID reader and Impinj's Dual-Linear Phased Array (DLPA) antenna technology, yielding the industry's smallest, most flexible, and cost-effective RFID portal solution.

High Performance, Integrated Portal RFID Reader
Impinj's Speedway xPortal RFID reader solves the size and mounting limitations of traditional portals with an attractive, light-weight, and low-profile unit.

Measuring approximately 30.5 x 8.75 x 2 in (77.5 x 22.2 x 5 cm) and weighing less than 10 lbs (4.5 kg), its compact form is unobtrusive, streamlined, and ultimately flexible, yet delivers better performance than larger, more costly industrial-scale portals.

The Speedway xPortal RFID reader integrates high-performance, Impinj-designed DLPA antenna technology with beam switching and polarization attributes that are dynamically managed by the reader, providing consistent and broad coverage of the read zone.

Designed for retail, office, hospital, and other indoor environments, the Speedway xPortal RFID reader is ideal for monitoring tagged items, pallets, equipment, files, or people passing through doorways, hallways, or other zonal coverage areas.

Impinj Speedway Revolution R420 4-ports

Impinj Speedway Revolution R420 4-ports

Includes all possible performance configurations and functionality to deliver peak performance for even the most challenging of applications.

4 high performance, monostatic antenna ports optimized for Impinj reader antennas.

Application environments are dynamic. Everything from RF interference, tag quantity, and ambient RF noise to building materials near an RFID installation affect system performance. Most users configure their RFID readers for worst case scenarios, often compromising best performance in the process.

With its innovative Autopilot features, Impinj's Speedway® Revolution RFID reader delivers peak performance—all day, every day.

Superior Performance Made Easy
With Autopilot, a set of unique firmware features work together to automatically optimize the RFID reader's operation for its environment:

  • Autoset—continuously optimizes the reader's configuration for the best, most reliable performance
  • Low duty cycle—reduces RF interference, power consumption, and energy costs
  • Dynamic antenna switching—improves throughput and helps the reader work more efficiently

The Speedway Revolution RFID reader also delivers increased application flexibility via support for Power over Ethernet (PoE), which simplifies deployment and dramatically reduces cost by eliminating the need for AC outlet installation at read points.

And this revolutionary RFID reader improves upon the advanced hardware capabilities that made the original Speedway the reader of choice for many demanding customers—capabilities such as best receive sensitivity, interference rejection, and item-level carrier cancellation.

Impinj, defining the future of RFID, where superior performance comes easy.

Impinj Speedway Revolution R220 2-ports

Impinj Speedway Revolution R220 2-ports

Intended for less demanding applications. Does not support the maximum throughput modes available on R420 including Max Throughput FM0, Hybrid, Max Miller and AutoSet Single Reader.

Impinj Guardwall antenne

Impinj Guardwall antenne

For item-level reading of packed goods, the Guardwall antenna provides a tightly controlled read zone and intense RF field, critical to penetrating deep into packed cases. When used as a pair, the Guardwall antenna absorbs energy from its opposing mate so that very little passes beyond the exterior face. This configuration maximizes stray read rejection by constraining the read zone to the area within the two antennas. It also increases read reliability by maximizing the intensity within the read zone.

The Guardwall measures 70 x 40 x 10 cm and smoothly integrates into conveyor systems.

Impinj Mini-Guardrail antenne

Impinj Mini-Guardrail antenne

The Mini-Guardrail antenna’s very short read range makes it well-suited for a wide variety of item-level applications. With its four flange-located mounting holes, it fits easily into the guardrail of a line conveyor system, works in a labeling machine, or any other application requiring short range performance in a small form factor.

The Mini-Guardrail antenna measures only 13 x 7 x 2 cm.

Impinj MatchBox antenne

Impinj MatchBox antenne

Impinj’s MatchBox reader antenna is the ideal antenna for demanding item level applications that require reading tags at distances up to 5 cm.

Typical applications include access control, ticketing, document control, high-speed encoding stations, packaging lines, and any situation that requires high reliability with a constrained read zone.

The MatchBox antenna, by virtue of its optimized near-field performance, is virtually immune to the effects of liquids, powders, packaging, etc.

The MatchBox antenna works for applications where standard antennas may fail, such as membership cards, blister packs, pill bottles, liquid-filled containers, and even tags floating in water.

The MatchBox antenna measures only 73 x 33 x 12 mm.

Impinj Threshold antenne

Impinj Threshold antenne

Initially designed for boundary/threshold crossing applications, the Impinj Threshold antenna has a very wide beam width to maximize zone coverage. Threshold antennas provide a consistent and continuous read zone when linearly distributed head-to-tail.

At 46 x 9 x 2 cm, the Threshold antenna’s planar form factor fits readily into a urethane ramp or onto fencing.
